ParetoLogic’s Adrian Pereira Named Top 20 Under 40

ParetoLogic Co-Founder Adrian Pereira was named one of Vancouver Island’s Top 20 Under 40.

April 19, 2017 – ParetoLogic Co-Founder Adrian Pereira has been recognized as one of Vancouver Island’s top young entrepreneurs.

Pereira was named one of Vancouver Island’s Top 20 Under 40 at a black tie awards gala in Nanaimo on April 8. The Top 20 under 40 Business and Community Achievement Awards recognize young entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence in business and leadership as well contribute to their community on a local and regional level.

“It is a great honor to be included with an amazing group of people,” Pereira said. “It was inspiring to hear about the accomplishments of the other honorees.  I want to thank my family for all of their support and encouragement.”

Pereira has founded, co-founded and served on the board of many successful technology firms on Vancouver Island, a region known for its booming tech community. In 2004, Pereira, his brothers, and his brother-in-law co-founded ParetoLogic. The company’s focus from day one was on developing sophisticated technology coupled with easy-to-use software to help users resolve computer issues.

“Adrian has never been one to seek the spotlight, but he has done so many amazing things in the local community, business, and technology worlds over the past 15 years,” said Elton Pereira, ParetoLogic’s Co-Founder and Adrian’s brother.

Before co-founding ParetoLogic, Adrian Pereira’s first online business was It grew rapidly by pitting groups of friends against each other in hockey drafts, drawing millions of visitors each year.  Another one of his initiatives included Donate2Play, an organization that helped raise money for charities through social games. Pereira also co-founded global e-commerce platform RevenueWire as well as alternative payment option, FuturePay, which allows customers to buy something now and pay later without a credit card. He also serves on the board of directors for multiple companies such as SendToNews, the fastest growing syndicator of sports highlights in the world.

A key to Pereira’s success has been his understanding of key trends and challenges that exist in the digital business world with new technology being introduced and his ability to adapt quickly.

“Adrian has always had the ability to provide guidance on the shifts occurring in the market,” ParetoLogic CEO Barry Dodd said. “In addition to providing guidance to the businesses he founded and co-founded, he serves on a number of boards providing advice and direction on growth strategies.”

As well as success in business, the Top 20 Under 40 recognizes entrepreneurs who make a concerted effort to give back and help their communities. Pereira’s businesses have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to many causes. He has supported such worthy causes near and far as The Mustad Seed, Our Place Society, BC Children’s Hospital, World Vision, Free the Children, and many more.

“Adrian and his family have inspired a culture of generosity at ParetoLogic where they contribute to many causes and projects that benefit children and families both locally and around the world,” said Danielle Fullwood, the Philanthropy Coordinator for BC Children’s Hospital. “BC Children’s Hospital is one of the grateful recipients of their generosity.”
