Protect the local computer
When you remove items from the computer, XOFTspy Portable will check to see if the computer has a copy of XoftSpySE on the desktop. When it does not detect the application, you are prompted to download a scan-only version of XoftSpySE to the desktop of the computer. Identified spyware can be removed when you purchase a license key for XoftSpySE.
You can choose to download and save the file. The file is stored there until you double-click it and install the application. Like its portable counterpart, XoftSpySE is a desktop anti-spyware solution that provides efficient scanning and removal of spyware. It takes advantage of the same spyware database and includes frequent product and database updates. XoftSpySE is the desktop spyware solution for your computer.
To turn off the prompt:
- In the left panel of the Main window click Settings.
- Clear the Enable ongoing protection prompts option.
Even with the prompts disabled, you can choose to manually download XoftSpySE to the computer at any time. See: Settings for more information.
