Purge

You can permanently delete all items that have been sent to the PL Spam Controls folder. You can also schedule a purge to run automatically. There are three ways to have email sent to the PL Spam Controls folder:

• Scanning
• Mark As Spam
• Adding the sender of email to the Block List (incoming emails from the sender are placed in the PL Spam Controls folder)

You can permanently delete items in the PL Spam Controls folder.

Note: When you purge the items they are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

To purge all items in the PL Spam Controls folder:

1. Click the Purge button.
2. Click Yes in the confirmation dialog.

Auto Purge

You can also set ParetoLogic Spam Controls to automatically purge your spam messages so that detected spam items in the PL Spam Controls folder are permanently deleted on a regular basis.

To automatically purge the PL Spam Controls folder:

1. Open the Main window and click the Options link.
2. Select the Purge PL Spam Controls folder every check box.
3. Select a number of days using the spin arrows.
