Main Window

After you have started ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS, the Main window will appear as seen here:

The areas you will use in the Main window include:

  • Other controls: Help (opens this help file)

Minimize, Maximize, and Close

There are standard buttons to adjust the size of the Main window as seen here.

Window Controls

From left to right, these are Minimize, Maximize, and Close.

Minimize: This hides the window so that it is no longer in view on the desktop but is placed on the taskbar.

Maximize: This expands the window from a partial window to a full screen window.

Close: This will close the Main window but leave the application running in the background. If you close ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS during a scan or when removing items, a message is displayed prompting you to wait for the process to complete or to return to the program and cancel the process.

Once you have closed the Main window you can open it by doing one of the following:

  • Right-click the ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS icon in the system tray and select Open ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS.
  • Double-click the Launch Anti-Virus PLUS icon on the desktop.
  • Click Start and select All Programs | ParetoLogic | Anti-Virus PLUS | Launch Anti-Virus PLUS.
