Ignore List

When a scan is complete a list of items is displayed in the Objects Detected section. You can choose to ignore items that are detected as potential threats. By adding an item to the Ignore list, ParetoLogic Anti-Spyware does not remove the item. That item is instead ignored for any upcoming scans.

Caution: It is recommended that you have some knowledge of the items you are not removing from your system.

To send an item to the Ignore when a scan is complete, do the following:

Click the Ignore link.

The item is removed from the list of detected errors and is placed in the Ignore list. You can also remove items from the Ignore list so that they are once again available to be scanned and detected for removal.

To remove items from the Ignore list:

  1. In the left Anti-Spyware panel of the Main window click Ignore.
  2. Select one or more items in the list.
  3. Click the Remove button.
