Operating Privileges

There are certain operating system privileges that you inherit when you are assigned to a user group. Windows 2000 and Windows XP have built-in groups. Membership to a group gives you rights and abilities to perform various tasks.

If you are experiencing difficulties with using the full functionality of this program or if you are receiving error messages relating to privileges, you need to log off and log on as an administrator. You can do this from the Start button.

For more information on user groups and user group assignment, refer to your operating system help information.
