ParetoLogic a Fast 500 company
ParetoLogic's innovation and dedication to customer service has propelled it to a spot on the 2011 Deloitte Technology Fast 500.
The Victoria, B.C. software company placed 112th on the latest edition of the prestigious list. For 17 years, the Technology Fast 500 has ranked North American technology companies based on percentage fiscal year growth over a five year period. From the 2006 to 2010, ParetoLogic grew 939 per cent. The company also placed 24th on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. This list ranks Canada's fastest growing tech companies.
"ParetoLogic has been successful because of our focus on the customer experience," ParetoLogic Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Don Wharton said. "We create innovative products that deal with the common computer issues users of all abilities face. These are items like a poor performing computer, outdated drivers, malware or not being able to open a file. Our programs are easy-to-use and our team offers great customer support and assistance. It is these things, along with creativity and perseverance, that has helped us grow at such an impressive rate."
Over the five-year period measured for the list, ParetoLogic has developed and released a number of innovative programs to solve common problems faced by a wide variety of computer users. For example, ParetoLogic DriverCure helps users find and update their device drivers for improved performance and stability from their PCs and hardware. With ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS, the company matches its proven anti-spyware expertise with cutting edge anti-virus technology. In the past couple of years ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor has given users a product, available in 10 different languages, that fixes, cleans and helps them optimize their PCs.
These are just some of the products ParetoLogic has unveiled in the past half decade. The company is always striving to better serve its customers and frequently releases updates to existing products. As well, ParetoLogic has built a loyal customer base thanks in part to a professional technical support team that combines computer expertise with people skills.
The specialities of the companies on the 2011 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 vary greatly. The list includes entries from such areas as software, hardware, telecom, life sciences, telecom, semiconductor and the emerging clean technology sector. ParetoLogic was proud to be part of the software sector, which had a list-high 194 companies represented. Canadian companies made up 15 per cent of the list. This is an increase of five per cent from 2009 and 2010 when they made up 10 per cent of the list each year.
Topping the 2011 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 was MAKO Surgical Corp, a Florida-based medical equipment company. Placing second was Canada's Accedian Networks, a Quebec-based communications and networking company. Rounding out the top 10 were RTI Cryogenics Inc., Avigilon, ServiceNow, NexJ Systems Inc., Real Matters, HubSport, AVI BioPharma Inc., and ARIAD Pharmaceuticals Inc.
