Summary of Job Position

ParetoLogic is looking for an eager Web/eCommerce developer. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of the eCommerce team ensuring the design, development and deployment of all eCommerce initiatives and application development related web development tasks. The candidate will be expected to have Web/eCommerce programming skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop eCommerce solutions and be held accountable for all technical aspects of such
  • Integrate domain hosting & eCommerce construction plus installation of web interfaces
  • Collaborate with Database team to maintain and optimize License Management System and supporting systems
  • Create and automate statistics & metric reporting tools for Web traffic and eCommerce transactions
  • Work closely with both QA Manager and Project Managers to deliver solutions under strict timeline constraints
  • Work with IT department to provide back-up maintenance of critical eCommerce transactions

Skills Required

  • Exposure to server side-side programming languages: PHP, C#, ASP, Java and .NET
  • Working knowledge of website development technologies – HTML, DHTML, XHTML, XML
  • Basic understanding of CSS
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with MS SQL
  • Entry level knowledge of search engine optimization techniques
  • Academic exposure to web strategies
  • Conceptual knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities, strategies and be able to meet long term goals
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Quick thinker, fast learner and problem solver

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent diploma or work experience
