ParetoLogic Releases Privacy Controls 2.0 — an advanced Windows application and Internet browser cleaner, that raises the bar in Internet security, while lowering the risk of unwanted files on your PC

Victoria, B.C. October 3, 2007 - ParetoLogic has gone public with Privacy Controls 2.0 - the latest release from the internet security specialists that have developed products such as ParetoLogic Anti-Spyware, RegCure Registry Cleaner and XoftSpySE.

With the unveiling of its latest file-deletion program — Privacy Controls 2.0, ParetoLogic has set a new standard in internet security, improving on a program that was already on par with U.S. Military privacy standards.

Privacy Controls 2.0 is now compatible with Windows Vista and features file-erasure enhancements to programs such as iMesh, Real Player, Live Messenger and Google and Yahoo toolbars.

A new finely-tuned interface makes sure that you are in control of which files you want to keep, and which files you want to destroy for good, all while making sure that it is done in a discreet manner. Privacy Controls 2.0 allows you to permanently erase all data related to your Internet activity such as website history, tracking cookies, and confidential information such as passwords, IDs and banking and credit card information.

"Now that people are using such a vast array of applications in their daily computer-lives, they have become vulnerable to unwittingly leaving traces of important personal information scattered throughout their hard drive. With Privacy Controls 2.0 we sought to design a file-deletion program that was compatible with all the current applications, while still maintaining a slick, easy-to-use interface," said Product Manager Greg Amlin.

With the capacity to purge all files from current P2P applications such as: Bit Torrent, LimeWire, Azureus, Kazaa, uTorrent and Morpheus, Privacy Controls 2.0 also erases all files pertaining to Instant Messaging and Voice Over Internet Protocol such as: AOL, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Instant Messenger, Trillian, Google Talk, Skype, Windows Live Messenger, and GAIM.

With personal security being a concern in both personal and business lives, it is important to make sure that your private information doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Whether it is a home PC or your computer at work, sensitive information such as security passwords and codes can be easily accessed by an unwanted third party.

Even when selling your computer or having it repaired by a technician, your confidential information is vulnerable long after you have deleted it. It is important to have it shredded for good through the permanent removal of files with a program such as ParetoLogic Privacy Controls 2.0.
