Victoria, B.C., October 20, 2011 – ParetoLogic has been named the 112 fastest growing company in North America on the 2011 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™. The Technology Fast 500™, Deloitte’s ranking of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America, lists companies based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the period from 2006–2010. ParetoLogic grew 939% percent during this period. ParetoLogic also ranked 24 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Canada.
“We are pleased to honor ParetoLogic as one of the 2011 Technology Fast 500,” said Mark Jensen, managing partner, technology and venture capital services, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “As one of the fastest growing tech companies in North America, ParetoLogic has demonstrated technological innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth.”
ParetoLogic creates security and utility software for the home PC user. Barry Dodd, ParetoLogic’s General Manager, credits ParetoLogic’s five-year growth to the company’s rapid deployment of customer-friendly software and keen marketing acumen. “Our strategy is to identify customer needs and develop software that specifically addresses them. For example, recent years included solutions for file extension problems, driver issues, and overall system performance. By remaining attentive to what customers demand, we are able to continually launch essential software.”
This model has kept ParetoLogic successful, in an economic environment which has left others struggling to stay afloat. “ParetoLogic and all the Technology Fast 500™ winners in 2011 have shown a remarkable drive for creativity and innovation, and of course growth, particularly when you look at their accomplishments in the context of current economic challenges” said Richard Lee, National Leader, Technology Media & Telecommunications Industry Group, Deloitte Canada. "Deloitte congratulates ParetoLogic for this significant achievement.”
