Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Software Developer is an exceptional individual with a proven ability to contribute within a team environment in the design, development, testing and maintenance of a suite of software products. We currently employ a variety of technologies including C++, MFC, ATL, COM, C#/ASP.NET, .NET Core, mySQL Server, and PHP, but are continuously looking at leveraging the best technology for a given solution. This role requires an individual who demonstrates mastery of common environments while being willing and able to learn and master new technologies and environments as appropriate.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in architectural and technical design with the software development team.
• Create software designs and other appropriate technical specifications for assigned components with guidance and supervision from either the Manager or a Senior Developer.
• Develop software implementations according to established development processes and coding standards with a focus on delivering high quality results in a timely fashion.
• Perform the component testing for their components and work with development team on performing integration tests as components are combined to create larger components and the overall product.
• Work with pre-existing software implementations to perform routine maintenance (e.g. defect fixes) and to apply architectural improvements to maintain consistency with newer products.
• Demonstrate a sound technical understanding of the internal technologies used by the Paretologic Development team.
• Locate and identify solutions for bugs and/or other technical issues within the software based on analysis of program behavior by debugging of the software and analysis of bug reports from testers.
• Routinely archive and maintain an organized structure for the software developed using the company’s specified source control system and with guidance from the development manager.
• Create appropriate documentation to convey information to team members, members of others teams in the department, as well as staff throughout the company.

Skills & Qualifications:
• 2+ years professional experience in software development
• Above average to excellent coding skills
• A demonstrable ability to learn and master new technologies and environments
• To be a quick thinker, fast learner and excellent problem solver
• Ability to handle shifting priorities, strategies and be able to meet long term goals
• Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Windows Operating Systems

Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Creative Services Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing tactical elements of marketing strategy and works to achieve integration of marketing campaigns, best practices and profitability. This position requires quality verbal, written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must be adept at research and will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, experience working with sales, graphic design and online promotions. This individual provides support and tactical implementation of marketing strategies. They will be highly motivated to learn and must be able to function in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute and manage tactical elements of marketing campaigns
• Online research, fact gathering, competitive analysis and tracking competitors
• Collaborate closely with team members to find the best way to communicate a concept and call to action to achieve great conversions
• Draft and edit a variety of client-facing materials, including website narrative and sales copy, landing pages, white papers, industry brochures, fact sheets, resource materials, blog articles and social media copy
• Write relevant search optimized copy based on researched keyword lists
• Manage the set-up, scheduling and deployment of campaigns, including managing relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Collaborate with staff members of other departments to research product attributes, functionality and user benefits
• Track and apply evolving best practices for SEO marketing
• Proofreading material for publication
• Ongoing dialogue for social media and blogs
• General duties to support marketing strategy
• Other tasks and responsibilities reasonably assigned by the Creative Services Manager

Education and/or Experience:
• Minimum requirement – High School Graduation, Business certificate or College diploma in business/marketing preferred or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to write persuasive copy and articles
• Experience working in the online industry
• Knowledge of HTML
• Photoshop/Illustrator experience would be an asset
